Preparing Tortilla Bowls

Heat Oil
In a deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until hot.

Shape Tortillas
Gently place a flour tortilla into the hot oil, using a spatula to shape it into a bowl. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Drain and Cool
Remove the tortilla bowl from the oil and drain on paper towels. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Preparing the Filling

Cook Meat
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef or shredded chicken. Cook until browned, breaking it apart if using ground beef.

Add Seasoning
Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thickened.

Add Cheese Sauce
Reduce heat to low and stir in the cheese sauce until well combined. Cook until heated through.
Assembling the Salad

Spoon the meat and cheese mixture into each tortilla bowl.
