Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Dice the onion, bell peppers, and tomato into small pieces. Set aside.

2

Marinate the Meat

In a bowl, mix the chicken or beef with olive oil, fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cooking

3

Cook the Meat

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated meat and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

4

Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if needed, then add the diced onion and bell peppers. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until they are tender. Add the cooked meat back to the skillet and mix well with the vegetables.

5

Warm the Tortillas

In a separate skillet or in the microwave, warm the flour tortillas until they are soft and pliable.

6

Assemble the Tacos

Take a warm tortilla, fill it with the meat and vegetable mixture, and add diced tomato on top.

Serving

7

Serve with Sides

Serve the fajita tacos with a side of rice and black beans. Garnish with cilantro and lime wedges for extra flavor.
