Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Chop the onion, bell peppers, and tomato into small pieces. Shred the lettuce and cheddar cheese.
- 2
Cook the Meat
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add your choice of meat (ground beef, chicken breast, or pork shoulder) and cook thoroughly, breaking it up as needed for even cooking.
- 3
Add Seasoning
Once the meat is cooked, add taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Assembly
- 4
Assemble the Burrito
Lay one large flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. In the center, place a generous portion of the cooked meat mixture, followed by the chopped vegetables (onion, bell peppers, tomato), shredded lettuce, and cheddar cheese.
- 5
Wrap the Burrito
Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll from the bottom up to encase the filling. Make sure to roll tightly to prevent spillage.
Serving
- 6
Serve with Condiments
Slice the burrito in half and serve with sour cream and salsa on the side.
