Bottled Soda Options (serve chilled)

Optional Garnishes & Serving Accessories

Method

Bottled Soda Options (serve chilled)

  1. 1

    Chill bottles

Place the 24 oz bottles you plan to serve in the refrigerator for at least 2–4 hours prior to serving. For faster chilling, submerge bottles in an ice-water bath for 15–20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Inspect bottles

Check each bottle for intact seals and no visible damage. Ensure labels are clean and expiration dates are acceptable.

  3. 3

    Open and serve (individual bottles)

If offering bottled service (one bottle per guest): hand each chilled 24 oz bottle to the guest unopened, or open the bottle at the bar and pour into a glass if preferred.

  4. 4

    Open and pour (shared service)

To pour: place a tall glass on a flat surface, fill roughly halfway with ice if desired. Hold the bottle at a slight angle and pour slowly down the inside of the glass to minimize fizz and foam. Top up as needed, leaving 1/2 inch of headspace.

Optional Garnishes & Serving Accessories

  1. 5

    Prepare ice and glasses

Fill tall glasses with 1/2 to 1 cup of ice cubes depending on preference. If serving without ice, chill glasses in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes.

  2. 6

    Add garnishes

For Sprite, Squirt or Jarritos: squeeze a lime wedge over the top and drop it into the glass. For Sidral or Sangria soda: garnish with a small apple slice or a thin orange wheel. For Fanta or Crush: add a mint sprig or orange wedge. Coca-Cola is traditionally served plain or with a lime wedge on request.

  3. 7

    Provide straws and napkins

Place a straw in each glass if desired and supply napkins. If bottles are handed unopened, provide a bottle opener or clear instructions if twist-off caps are present.

  4. 8

    Serve

Present the chilled bottle or poured glass immediately. Replace bottles back into refrigeration if not used.
