Method

Prepare the Coffee Mixture

  1. 1

    Brew the Coffee

Brew a strong cup of coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature.

  2. 2

    Combine Coffee and Liqueur

In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee with coffee liqueur. Set aside.

Prepare the Mascarpone Mixture

  1. 3

    Whip the Heavy Cream

In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.

  2. 4

    Mix Mascarpone and Egg Yolks

In another bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the egg yolks and mix until well combined.

  3. 5

    Fold in the Whipped Cream

Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.

Assemble the Tiramisu

  1. 6

    Dip the Ladyfingers

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

In a 9x9 inch dish, arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers on the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

  3. 8

    Repeat the Layers

Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.

  4. 9

    Chill and Dust with Cocoa

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight). Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
