Preparation of Balsamic Reduction

Make the Balsamic Reduction
In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Heat over medium heat until it starts to simmer.

Reduce the Mixture
Lower the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and let cool.

Prepare the Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Seasoning
Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the tomatoes. Mince the garlic cloves and mix them in. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
Grilling the Bread

Top the Bread
Place the grilled bread slices on a serving platter. Spoon the tomato topping generously over each slice.

Drizzle with Balsamic Reduction
Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the topped bread.
