Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Cutting and Soaking Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 2

    Drying and Seasoning

After soaking, drain the potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the dried potatoes with salt, black pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Frying the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove fries from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 4

    Grilling the Wagyu Steak

Season the American wagyu steak with salt and pepper. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly.

  2. 5

    Sautéing Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions, mushrooms, and sweet bell peppers. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle with garlic powder and stir well.

Assembling the Dish

  1. 6

    Combining Everything

On a serving platter, layer the crispy fries, then top with the sautéed vegetables and sliced wagyu steak. Melt the white American cheese over the top by placing it under a broiler for a minute or covering with a lid until it melts.

  2. 7

    Garnishing

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your delicious Wagyu Fries!
