Method

Prepare the Fries

  1. 1

    Bake the Fries

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen French fries on a baking sheet in a single layer and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fries

Bake the fries in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.

Prepare the Toppings

  1. 3

    Sauté the Veggies

In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Once hot, add the diced onions, sweet bell peppers, and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.

  2. 4

    Cook the Plant-Based Beef

Add the plant-based ground beef to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula, until heated through.

  3. 5

    Melt the Cheese

Reduce the heat to low and sprinkle the shredded white American cheese over the beef and vegetable mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid for a couple of minutes until the cheese is melted.

Assemble the Dish

  1. 6

    Combine and Serve

Remove the fries from the oven and place them on a serving platter. Spoon the plant-based beef and vegetable mixture generously over the fries. If desired, garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
