Fries

Method

Preparing Fries

  1. 1

    Cook the Fries

Preheat the oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, typically about 20-25 minutes.

  2. 2

    Season the Fries

Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and drizzle with vegetable oil. Sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over the fries. Toss gently to coat the fries evenly with the seasoning.

Preparing the Steak Topping

  1. 3

    Cook the Steak and Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions, mushrooms, and sweet bell peppers. Sauté until soft, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 4

    Add the Steak

Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Cook until the steak is browned and cooked to your liking, usually about 3-5 minutes.

  3. 5

    Combine and Melt the Cheese

Mix the vegetables and steak together in the skillet. Lower the heat and sprinkle the shredded white American cheese over the mixture. Cover and let it cook until the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes.

Assembling the Dish

  1. 6

    Layer the Fries

Once the fries are ready and the steak mixture is cooked, place the seasoned fries on a serving platter.

  2. 7

    Top with Steak and Cheese

Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture generously over the fries, ensuring an even coverage. Serve immediately while the cheese is still gooey.
