Zucchini Chips

Tzatziki Sauce

Method

Zucchini Chips Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Zucchini

Wash the zucchini and slice them into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper in the third.

  3. 3

    Bread the Zucchini

Dip each zucchini slice first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Set aside on a plate.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  5. 5

    Fry the Chips

Once the oil is hot, add the breaded zucchini slices in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Tzatziki Sauce Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Cucumber

Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.

  2. 7

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well.

  3. 8

    Chill

Refrigerate the tzatziki for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
