For the Bifteki Patties

Method

For the Bifteki Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Shape the Patties

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into thick patties. Use your thumb to make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the patties with olive oil on both sides.

  4. 4

    Grill the Patties

Cook the patties on the grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.

For the Tzatziki Sauce

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt until well combined.

  2. 6

    Chill the Sauce

Refrigerate the tzatziki sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
