1. Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat them dry with paper towels.

2. Season the Steak

Rub the steaks with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

3. Cook the Steak

Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adding garlic, rosemary, and butter halfway through the cooking time.

4. Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate, covered with foil, for 5-10 minutes.

5. Prepare the Asparagus

In the same skillet, add the asparagus and a little extra olive oil if needed. Sauté for about 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.

6. Garnish and Serve
