Method

Mac & Cheese Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden. Gradually whisk in the whole milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

  3. 3

    Add Cheeses and Seasonings

Reduce heat to low, then add the white cheddar and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted. Add the cooked bacon, slow roasted tomatoes, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, mixing until the pasta is thoroughly coated.

Yeast Rolls Preparation

  1. 5

    Activate the Yeast

In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water and sprinkle the yeast on top. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

  2. 6

    Make the Dough

In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter, stirring until a dough forms.

  3. 7

    Knead the Dough

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

  4. 8

    Shape and Bake Rolls

Preheat your wood-fired oven. Punch down the risen dough, then shape into rolls. Place on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes. Bake in the wood-fired oven until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.

Honey Cinnamon Butter Preparation

  1. 9

    Mix Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, and ground cinnamon. Mix until well blended and creamy.
