Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the sirloin steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps them cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub both sides of the steak with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper evenly over the surface. Let it marinate while you prepare the sides.

Signature Sides Preparation

  1. 3

    Make Mashed Potatoes

Boil potatoes until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain, then mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper to taste.

  2. 4

    Prepare Steamed Asparagus

Trim the ends of the asparagus and steam for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp. Season with salt and pepper.

Yeast Rolls Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Yeast

In a bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit until frothy, about 5-10 minutes.

  2. 6

    Make the Dough

In a mixing bowl, combine the frothy yeast mixture, milk, melted butter, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 7

    Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

  4. 8

    Shape the Rolls

Punch down the risen dough, shape into rolls, and place them on a greased baking sheet. Let rise again for about 30 minutes.

  5. 9

    Bake the Rolls

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Honey Cinnamon Butter Preparation

  1. 10

    Make the Honey Cinnamon Butter

In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with honey and cinnamon until well combined. Set aside.

Steak Cooking

  1. 11

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the rosemary, then place the steaks on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.
