For Cooking

Method

Prepare the Garlic Butter

  1. 1

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 2

    Add Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 3

    Finish the Garlic Butter

Stir in the chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cook the Salmon

  1. 4

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.

  2. 5

    Sear the Salmon

Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Once the oil is hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the skin is crispy.

  3. 6

    Flip and Cook

Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp

  1. 7

    Cook the Shrimp

In the same skillet, add the prepared garlic butter and the shrimp. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Serve

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

Place the seared salmon on a plate and top with the garlic butter shrimp. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the pan over the top.

  2. 9

    Garnish

Garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.
