Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Macaroni

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add 2 cups of elbow macaroni and cook according to package directions until al dente, usually about 7-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Making Buffalo Sauce

  1. 2

    Prepare Buffalo Sauce

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter. Once melted, add 1 cup of hot sauce, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and let simmer for about 5 minutes.

Making Cheese Sauce

  1. 3

    Prepare Cheese Sauce

In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine 4 oz of cream cheese and 0.5 cups of milk. Stir continuously until the cream cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth. Gradually add in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until fully melted and combined.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Combine Macaroni and Sauces

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, prepared buffalo sauce, and cheese sauce. Stir well until the macaroni is evenly coated with both sauces.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve and Garnish

Spoon the buffalo mac into serving bowls. Top with chopped green onions and crumbled blue cheese. Serve hot.
