Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Bacardi Rum and 1 oz of fresh lime juice.

Shake
Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain
Strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice.

Add Grenadine
Slowly pour 0.5 oz of grenadine into the glass. It will sink to the bottom, creating a 'bleeding' effect.

Garnish the Drink
Place a lime wedge on the rim of the glass and drop a maraschino cherry into the drink for decoration.
