Mix Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the melted butter and yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.

Knead Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Shape Pretzels
Preheat oven to 450°F. Punch down the risen dough and divide into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope (about 24 inches) and shape into a pretzel.

Prepare Baking Soda Bath
In a large pot, bring 10 cups of water to a boil. Add baking soda carefully (it will bubble).

Boil Pretzels
Using a slotted spoon, carefully drop each shaped pretzel into the boiling water for about 30 seconds. Remove and place on a greased baking sheet.

Bake Pretzels
Sprinkle pretzels with coarse sea salt. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine sharp cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and milk.

Heat Mixture
Heat over medium-low, stirring constantly, until the cheeses are melted and the mixture is smooth.

Add garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir well and remove from heat.
