Carrot Cake

Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, sift together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the carrots and walnuts.

Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Chocolate Cake
