Burger Patties

Burger Assembly

Method

Preparing the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Beer-Braising the Beef

In a medium saucepan, add the ground beef, beer, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Forming the Patties

Remove the beef mixture from heat and let it cool slightly. Once cooled, divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty.

Cooking the Burgers

  1. 3

    Searing the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 4

    Preparing the Buns and Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, slice the brioche buns in half and wash the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thick rounds.

  2. 5

    Building the Burger

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top, followed by a slice of tomato. Add the seared burger patty on top and cover with the top half of the bun.
