Method

Preparing Tea

  1. 1

    Brew the Tea

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 4 tsp of loose leaf black tea. Steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on desired strength. Once steeped, strain the tea leaves and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Making Lemonade

  1. 2

    Prepare Lemonade

Juice the fresh lemons to extract juice and measure out 1 cup of lemon juice. In a pitcher, combine the lemon juice, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 4 cups of water. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved. Chill in the refrigerator.

Assembling the Cooler

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea and lemonade mixture. Stir to blend.

  2. 4

    Add Garnishes

Slice the fresh strawberries and add them to the pitcher. Pour in 2 cups of Sierra Mist for a fizzy touch. Finally, add a handful of fresh basil leaves for aroma and garnish.

  3. 5

    Serve

Serve the 67 Cooler over ice in glasses. Garnish with additional basil leaves and strawberries if desired.
