Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Fresh Strawberries

Rinse the fresh strawberries under cool water. Remove the stems and slice the strawberries into halves or quarters, depending on your preference for size. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Make Housemade Lemonade

In a medium pitcher, combine 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water to taste.

  3. 3

    Prepare Fresh Basil

Gently wash the fresh basil leaves under cool water and pat dry with a paper towel. Tear the leaves into smaller pieces to release their flavor.

Assembling the Cooler

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a large glass or pitcher, add the prepared fresh strawberries, housemade lemonade, and Sierra Mist. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

  2. 5

    Garnish with Basil

Add the torn fresh basil leaves to the mixture and stir lightly to distribute the basil flavor throughout the cooler.

  3. 6

    Serve

Pour the cooler into individual glasses filled with ice, and garnish with additional basil leaves or a slice of lemon if desired. Enjoy your refreshing 67 67 Cooler!
