Juice fresh lemons until you have about 120 ml (4 oz) of lemon juice.

In a shaker or tall glass, combine the lemon juice with prickly pear syrup and whisk or stir until well blended.

Add 180 ml (6 oz) of cold water to the lemon-prickly pear mixture and stir to combine.

Fill a pint glass with ice to the top.

Pour the lemonade over the ice until the glass is full.

Garnish with a lemon wheel or a small prickly pear slice if available and serve immediately over ice.
