Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt.

Knead Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

First Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.

Shape the Dough
After rising, punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.

Second Rise
Cover the loaf with a damp cloth again and let it rise for another 30-60 minutes, until puffed.

Bake
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the loaf for about 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.

Cool and Serve
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack. Serve with Chef’s Butter Selection, Togarashi, and Maldon Salt.
