Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients required for the omelette. Chop vegetables and proteins as needed, and shred cheese if not pre-shredded.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Beat the Eggs

In a mixing bowl, crack the 3 eggs and add 1 tsp of salt and 0.5 tsp of black pepper. Beat the eggs with a fork or whisk until the mixture is uniform in color.

  2. 3

    Heat the Pan

Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp of butter. Allow the butter to melt and coat the pan evenly.

  3. 4

    Cook the Eggs

Once the butter is melted and bubbly, pour the beaten eggs into the skillet. Let them cook undisturbed for about 1-2 minutes until the edges begin to set.

  4. 5

    Add Fillings

When the edges of the omelette are set but the top is still slightly runny, add your choice of fillings (e.g., cheddar cheese, bell peppers, onion, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, ham, and feta cheese) evenly across one half of the omelette.

  5. 6

    Fold the Omelette

Using a spatula, carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the fillings. Allow it to cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully cooked.

  6. 7

    Serve

Once cooked to your liking, slide the omelette onto a plate. Cut in half if desired and serve hot.
