Chicken Tenders

Honey Mustard Sauce

Method

Chicken Tenders Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1 to 1.5 inches wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dip each chicken strip first in the flour, shaking off excess, then into the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Place coated chicken tenders on a plate.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  5. 5

    Fry the Chicken Tenders

Fry the chicken tenders in batches, cooking for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  6. 6

    Drain and Serve

Transfer cooked tenders to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil, then serve warm.

Honey Mustard Sauce Preparation

  1. 7

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and salt.

  2. 8

    Whisk Together

Whisk the mixture until smooth and well combined.

  3. 9

    Taste and Adjust

Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning or sweetness by adding more honey or salt if desired.

  4. 10

    Serve

Serve the honey mustard sauce alongside the chicken tenders.
