Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a medium bowl, combine the honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, ground ginger, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.
- 2
Prepare the Ham
Place the ham in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the ham, ensuring it is well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Cooking
- 3
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- 4
Bake the Ham
Remove the ham from the marinade and place it in a roasting pan. Pour half of the marinade over the ham. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C), basting with the remaining marinade every 20 minutes.
- 5
Add Pineapple Slices
During the last 15 minutes of baking, place the pineapple slices on top of the ham. Continue to bake until heated through.
Serving
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
