1. Toast the Bread
Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Toast the rye bread slices until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Layer the corned beef and pastrami on a clean cutting board. If you prefer warm meats, you can heat them slightly in the microwave for 30 seconds.
3. Slice the Onion
Finely chop the onion to your desired size.
4. Prepare the Sauerkraut
Drain the sauerkraut and set aside.
