Method

Cake Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Whisk Eggs and Sugar

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the milk and vanilla extract to the egg mixture, then gradually add the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

  5. 5

    Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool.

Milk Mixture Preparation

  1. 6

    Mix the Milks

In a separate bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk. Mix until well combined.

  2. 7

    Soak the Cake

Once the cake has cooled, poke holes all over the top with a fork. Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak in.

Topping Preparation

  1. 8

    Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

  2. 9

    Top the Cake

Spread the whipped cream over the soaked cake. Optionally, sprinkle with cinnamon for added flavor.
