Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

Rinse the clams, mussels, and shrimp under cold water. Remove any beards from the mussels and debris from the clams. For the lobster, boil in salted water for about 10-15 minutes, then remove and let cool. Once cool, crack the shell and remove the meat, cutting it into bite-sized pieces.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  2. 3

    Simmer the Base

Add the tomato sauce, white wine, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

  3. 4

    Cook the Seafood

Add the clams, mussels, scallops, shrimp, and lobster meat to the skillet. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the clams and mussels have opened and the shrimp and scallops are cooked through.

  4. 5

    Finish and Serve

Once the seafood is cooked, remove from heat and sprinkle fresh parsley on top. Serve immediately, and enjoy your delicious seafood mariscada!
