Marinade

Method

Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Octopus

Add the cleaned octopus to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for best flavor.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

In a pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the diced potatoes and cook until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions. Sauté until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Add the cooked potatoes and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and keep warm.

  3. 5

    Grill the Octopus

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the octopus from the marinade and place it on the grill. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side until charred and cooked through.

  4. 6

    Serve

Remove the octopus from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the octopus into pieces and serve on a plate with the sautéed vegetables. Garnish with fresh parsley.
