Salad Preparation
- 1
Grill the Chicken
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- 2
Prepare the Lettuce
While the chicken is resting, wash and dry the romaine lettuce. Chop it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large mixing bowl.
- 3
Add Cheese and Croutons
Grate the Parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the chopped lettuce. Add the croutons to the bowl.
Dressing Preparation
- 4
Make the Dressing
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic clove, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and anchovy paste. Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Assembly
- 5
Combine the Ingredients
Slice the grilled chicken breasts and lay them on top of the salad mixture. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss to combine all ingredients.
- 6
Serve
Divide the salad into bowls and serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
