Preparation of Beef
- 1
Slice the Beef
Cut the beef sirloin into thin, even slices, about 1/4 inch thick to ensure even cooking.
- 2
Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with the suya spice mix and vegetable oil. Mix well to coat the beef evenly. Cover and let marinate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator for enhanced flavor.
Grilling
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Prepare your charcoal grill by lighting the charcoal and allowing it to heat until covered with white ash.
- 4
Grill the Beef
Skewer the marinated beef slices onto metal or soaked wooden skewers. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness and has a nice char.
Preparing Vegetables

- 6
Dress the Vegetables
Add lemon juice to the sliced cabbage and onions. Toss lightly to combine and set aside to marinate while the beef is grilling.
