Method
Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Tuna
Season the yellowfin tuna with salt and pepper. Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat and sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until rare. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips.
- 2
Prepare the Mango and Avocado
Peel and dice the mango into small cubes. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, scoop the flesh out with a spoon, and slice it into thin pieces.
- 3
Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, combine the sliced tuna, diced mango, sliced avocado, crispy gyoza strips, and peanuts. Gently toss to mix the ingredients.
- 4
Add Cilantro
Chop the fresh cilantro and sprinkle it over the salad mixture.
Cilantro Ginger Dressing Preparation
- 5
Make the Dressing
In a small bowl, finely grate the fresh ginger and mince the garlic clove. Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and honey to the bowl. Whisk together until well combined.
