Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the whole Atlantic lobster and cook for about 8-10 minutes until it turns bright red. Remove the lobster from the pot, let it cool, then crack the shell and extract the meat. Chop the lobster meat into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Prawns

Peel and devein the prawns. Rinse them under cold water and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

Finely chop the shallots and set aside. Halve the cherry tomatoes and roughly chop the Italian parsley.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Spaghetti

In the same pot used for the lobster, bring salted water to a boil again. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Shallots and Prawns

In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped shallots and sauté until translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Add the prawns and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.

  3. 6

    Add Wine and Tomatoes

Pour the white wine into the skillet, scraping any browned bits from the bottom. Allow it to simmer for about 2 minutes. Then, add the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they soften.

  4. 7

    Combine Ingredients

Add the lobster meat to the skillet and stir gently to combine. Then, add the cooked spaghetti and the lobster-lemon butter sauce, tossing everything together. If the mixture seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to reach the desired consistency.

Finishing Touches

  1. 8

    Season and Serve

Season the spaghetti with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss in the chopped parsley just before serving. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
