Peach Bourbon Tea

Method

Peach Bourbon Tea

  1. 1

    Brew the Tea

In a teapot or heatproof pitcher, steep the two black tea bags in one cup of hot water for about 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Mix the Cocktail

In a glass, combine the steeped tea, Maker's Mark JOEY Reserve ‘Peach Brûlée’ Bourbon, and peach syrup. Stir well to combine.

  3. 3

    Add Fresh Ingredients

Add the fresh peach slices and mint leaves to the mixture, gently muddling them to release their flavors.

  4. 4

    Serve

Fill the glass with ice cubes and garnish with additional mint leaves if desired. Serve chilled.

Old Fashioned Upgrade

  1. 5

    Prepare the Glass

In an Old Fashioned glass, add the simple syrup and Angostura bitters. Stir to combine.

  2. 6

    Add the Bourbon

Pour in the Maker's Mark JOEY Reserve ‘Peach Brûlée’ Bourbon over the syrup mixture.

  3. 7

    Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes, allowing the drink to chill and combine flavors.

  4. 8

    Garnish

Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop it in as a garnish. Add a maraschino cherry on top for an added touch.

  5. 9

    Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy your upgraded Old Fashioned.
