Crispy Mashed Potatoes

Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the sirloin steak with olive oil and season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Place the steak on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Crispy Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 5

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 6

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper, then mash until smooth.

  3. 7

    Add Cheese and Onions

Stir in cheddar cheese and green onions until fully combined.

  4. 8

    Prepare for Baking

Transfer the mashed potatoes into a baking dish and smooth the top. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top.

  5. 9

    Bake the Potatoes

Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy on top.

Seasonal Vegetables Preparation

  1. 10

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the mixed vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 11

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the mixed vegetables, season with salt and black pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
