Hot Wings
Creamy Blue Cheese Dip
Method
Hot Wings
- 1
Prepare Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps to get them crispy.
- 2
Season Wings
In a large bowl, season the chicken wings with salt and black pepper. Make sure they are evenly coated.
- 3
Bake Wings
Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 4
Prepare Sauce
In a saucepan, combine Frank's RedHot sauce, unsalted butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Heat over medium-low, stirring until the butter melts and the sauce is heated through.
- 5
Toss Wings
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.

- 6
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 7
Mix Dip
Using a fork or whisk, mix everything together until well combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- 8
Chill Dip
Cover the dip and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
