Method

Prepare the Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Seafood

In a bowl, combine shrimp and cod fillets with olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the seafood evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Seafood

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cod. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the shrimp is pink and the cod flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and set aside.

Assemble the Tacos

  1. 3

    Warm the Tortillas

In a separate pan, lightly toast the corn tortillas over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and pliable.

  2. 4

    Build the Tacos

On each tortilla, place a portion of the cooked seafood mixture. Top with guacamole, a drizzle of Valentina’s hot sauce, and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.

  3. 5

    Serve

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top before eating.
