Prepare the Sea Bream
- 1
Clean and Season
Clean the whole sea bream under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels. Rub salt and black pepper all over the fish, including inside the cavity.
- 2
Heat Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it's hot but not smoking.
- 3
Fry the Fish
Carefully place the seasoned sea bream in the hot oil. Fry for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown and the fish is cooked through.

Combine Ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, egg yolks, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt.
- 5
Add Water
Gradually add the water while whisking until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt to taste.
Prepare the Burnt Kimchi
- 6
Sauté Kimchi
In a separate pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the kimchi and cook until it is slightly charred and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
- 7
Finish with Sesame Seeds
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the burnt kimchi before removing from heat.
Serve
- 8
Plating
Place the fried sea bream on a serving platter. Serve with a generous dollop of peanut aïoli and the burnt kimchi on the side.
