Cocktail
- 1
Chill mug
Place a copper mug or highball glass in the freezer for 10–15 minutes beforehand if you prefer a very cold drink. Alternatively, fill the mug with ice and let sit 1–2 minutes, then discard excess water and leave ice in mug.
- 2
Add vodka and lime
Fill the chilled mug with fresh cubed ice (about 1 cup). Measure and pour 2 oz Tito's Handmade Vodka into the mug. Add 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice (about half a small lime).
- 3
Top with ginger beer
Pour 4 oz (about half a 12 oz bottle) of Barritt's Ginger Beer gently over the back of a bar spoon into the mug to preserve carbonation and to create a layered look. Leave a small head of foam at the top.
- 4
Stir gently
Use a bar spoon to gently stir the cocktail 2–3 times to combine vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer without flattening the ginger beer excessively.
- 5
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a lime wedge or wheel on the rim and an optional mint sprig tucked beside it. Serve immediately while fizzy and cold.

Use a jigger to measure spirits and a citrus juicer to extract fresh lime juice for the best flavor. A copper mug is traditional and helps keep the drink cold, but a highball glass works fine.
