Prepare the Brisket
Rub the beef brisket with a mixture of your favorite spices and seasonings. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Prepare the Pulled Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with a blend of spices, including salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Allow it to marinate for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.

Pulled Pork Cooking Time
Smoke the pork shoulder for about 1.5 hours per pound until it reaches an internal temperature of 190°F (88°C).

Resting the Meats
Once both meats are done cooking, remove them from the smoker and let them rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing or shredding.

Serving
Slice the brisket against the grain and shred the pulled pork. Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce and side dishes.
