Method

Marinating the Paneer

  1. 1

    Prepare Marinade

In a bowl, combine yogurt, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, salt, lemon juice, and ginger-garlic paste. Mix well to form a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate Paneer

Cut paneer into cubes and add to the marinade. Ensure all pieces are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking the Paneer Tikka

  1. 3

    Grill Paneer

Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C (400°F). Thread marinated paneer onto skewers and grill for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown.

Making the Sauce

    Prepare Sauce

In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped onions until golden brown. Add pureed tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes.

  2. 5

    Finish Sauce

Add garam masala, salt, and cream. Stir well and let simmer for another 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Combine and Serve

  1. 6

    Combine Tikka and Sauce

Add the grilled paneer tikka to the sauce and gently mix. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

  2. 7
