Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Sprinkle the ribeye steaks generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to absorb the seasoning.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F). Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare. Adjust time as needed for your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Cut the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick) to create fries.

  2. 6

    Soak the Fries

Place the cut fries in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat them dry with a clean towel.

  3. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the dried fries to the hot oil in small batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-6 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with salt.

Garlic Butter Preparation

  1. 9

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 10

    Add Garlic and Parsley

Add minced garlic cloves to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in chopped parsley and lemon juice.

  3. 11

    Serve the Garlic Butter

Remove from heat and drizzle the garlic butter over the rested steaks just before serving.
