Prepare the Meatloaf Mixture
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, bread crumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape and Bake
Transfer the meatloaf mixture to a greased loaf pan and shape it into a loaf. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hour, or until cooked through.

Whip the Potatoes
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Mash and whip until smooth and creamy.

Prepare the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add green beans and baby carrots. Season with salt and black pepper.

Sauté the Vegetables
Sauté the vegetables for about 10-12 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized.
Red Pepper Gravy

Sauté the Vegetables
In a saucepan, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped red bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic. Sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.

Make the Gravy
Add chicken broth to the sautéed vegetables. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth, then add to the saucepan. Stir until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and black pepper.

Toast the sourdough bread slices in a toaster or under the broiler until golden brown.
