Chill a coupe glass by placing it in the freezer or filling with ice water for 2–3 minutes.

In a mixing glass, combine The Macallan 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky (60 ml), Sweet Vermouth (30 ml), and Angostura bitters (2 dashes).

Add Ice (1 cup) to the mixing glass and stir for 20–30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.
