Ribs and Marinade

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form a paste.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Ribs

Rub the marinade all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for best results.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Place the marinated ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  5. 5

    Glaze with BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the top foil, and brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and bake uncovered for an additional 20-30 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized.

  6. 6

    Serve

Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before cutting into portions. Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
