Seafood Chowder

Method

Seafood Chowder

  1. 1

    Cook Vegetables

In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, carrots, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add Flour

Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

  3. 3

    Add Broth and Potatoes

Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, then add the potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Seafood and Cream

Stir in the mixed seafood and heavy cream. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the seafood is cooked through. Season with dill, pepper, and lemon juice.

House Salad

  1. 5

    Prepare Salad

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.

  2. 6

    Make Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.

  3. 7

    Toss Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.

Garlic Toast

  1. 8

    Prepare Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.

  2. 9

    Toast Bread

Spread the garlic butter mixture on each slice of French bread. Place on a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
