    Prepare the Ingredients

    Chop the potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic into small pieces. Cut the seafood into bite-sized chunks.

Cooking

    In a large pot over medium heat, add a little oil and sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant. Add the carrots, celery, and potatoes, and cook for about 5 minutes.

    Add Liquids and Simmer

    Pour in the fish stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

    Stir in the Atlantic salmon, smoked mackerel, haddock, and scallops. Add the cream, seasonings, and bay leaf. Let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
