Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Patty

  1. 1

    Make the Beef Patty

In a bowl, combine the grass-fed beef, salt, and black pepper. Form into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of smoked cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 4

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 5

    Layer Toppings

On the bottom half of each bun, layer the lettuce, cooked beef patty with melted cheese, tomato chow-chow, pickled peppers, and a dollop of spicy aioli.

  3. 6

    Complete the Burger

Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
